Mansa, 20 September: Sh. Surendra Lamba IPS told the press that Mansa Police got a big achievement under the supervision of sh. Digvijay Kapil, PPS SP (Investigation) Mansa and nabbed a car snatcher on information and arrested Mohit Kumar S/o Rajinder Kumar R/o Talwandi Sabo (Bathinda) and Deepak Kumar @ Suraj Yadav S/o Ramphal R/o Ward No: 11 Pundari District Kaithal (Haryana) with snatched car. Under the supervision of SP (Investigation) SHO Sardulgarh held further investigation Ravinder Singh S/o Vishlan Singh R/o Gujapir PS Ajnala (Amritsar), Manjitsingh S/o Shawinder Singh R/o JhaduNangal ( Amritsar), Rajesh Kumar S/o Mohal R/o Bathinda, Jassi S/o Krishan Singh R/o Pai District Kaithal (Haryana) and Sunil Kumar S/o Nathu Ram R/o Mogali District Hissar ( Haryana) are aslo nabbed. 5 illegal pistol (.32 bore) and 33 live cartridges and Car bearing registration No. PB 01C-0865 is recovered from the accused. These accused are already facing snatching, drug smuggling cases in various police stations.
SSP Mansa added that police party of PS Sardulgarh was present near Jattana Kainchian in connection with call received from Helpine-112 about car snatching, Police party nabbed Mohit Kumar S/o Rajinder Kumar R/o Talwandi Sabo ( Bathinda) and he told the name of accused who ran away Suraj Yadav R/o Panduri (Haryana). Police party seized one illegal pistol .32 bore from accused Mohit Kumar. Sardulgarh Police registered FIR No: 237 dated 18-9-2020 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Sardulgarh and recovered pistol and car has been taken in possession.
Under the leadership of SSP Mansa Sh. Surendra Lamba, IPS, Sh. Digvijay Kapil SP (inv) and SHO Sardulgarh carried further investigation and teams of CIA Mansa, PS Sardulgarh, Special Branch and PS City-1 Mansa were sent to arrest the rest. Team of PS Sardulgarh nabbed absconder Suraj Yadav @ Deepak Kumar S/o Ramphal R/o Ward No: 11 Pundari, Kaithal (Haryana). During initial investigation Ravinder Singh and Manjit Singh was nominated. Team of Special Branch raided at the places of Ravinder Singh and nabbed him with a illegal pistol .32 bore, 12 live cartridges. Team of CIA Mansa nabbed Manjit Singh with 8 live cartridges .32 bore. On the statements of Deepak Kumar and Mohit Kumar other two Rajesh Kumar and Jassi were also nominated and CIA Mansa nabbed Rajesh Kumar with one pistol .32 bore, 9 live cartridges and Team of PS Sardulgarh nabbed the Jassi with pistol .32 bore, 3 live cartridges. On the statement of Deepak Kumar, Sunil Kumar R/o Mogali, Hisar (Haryana) is nominated and Team of PS City-1 mansa nabbed Sunil kumar with one pistol .32 bore 1 live cartridges. In this way, Mansa Police recovered total 5 Pistol.32 bore and arrested 7 from various places.

These accused are interstate snatchers, illegal weapon suppliers. These are facing various FIR in various police stations.- A car Swift recovered from Mohit Kumar S/o Rajinder Kumar hired this car from Phagwara and he snatched this car at gun point from driver. FIR No: 95 dated 18-9-2020 u/s 379-B IPC PS Phagwara was registered. Mohit Kumar is also facing two cases of drug smuggling in District Bathinda who is on parole since last five months in case no 251/2014.
- Manjit Singh is also involved in case no: 3/2019 PS Tarantarn and case no: 1983/2020 Ps Shri Amritsar Sahib.
