7 Motorcycles and 5 mobile phones and fatal weapons recovered

Sh. Surendra Lamba, IPS, SSP Mansa told that Mansa police got a big success in its campaign against bad social elements in arresting 4 members of an interstate robber’s gang who were planning for big crime. This plan was being prepared in a Jhidi (dense trees) on the outskirts of village Jagatgarh Bandran, PS Jaurkian. Upon information, the police party of PS Jaurkian was able to nab these in a well planned manner. These criminals had lethal weapons with them. Four of them were arrested on the spot with one Gandasi, one Iron axe, Iron Rod, and Sharp dah has been recovered. Two members of the gang who had left for recce are yet to be arrested. Later, 7 Motorcycles and 5 mobiles were also recovered by the police party of PS Jarkian. It could only have been possible due to tight security arrangements and day and night vigil duties being given by the District Police, Mansa which will be keep up in future also.
On 22th of November, 2020, Police Party of Ps Jaurkian was on patrolling duty and were present at village Jagatgarh Bandran. When they got information that 6 members of an Interstate gang namely Jaswinder Singh @ Bhalla S/o Kuldeep Singh R/o Chanarthal (Bathinda), Arshdeep Singh @ Arsu S/o Kala Singh, Manpreet Singh @ ghacha S/o Kaka Singh, Gurwinder Singh @ Bura S/o Mithu Singh, Manga Singh S/o Ajaib Singh R/o Maur Chadat Singh Wala (Bathinda) and Lakhwinder Singh @ mindi S/o Jani Singh R/o Jodhpur Pakhar (Bathinda) are planning for robbery, hiding behind the trees near Bhakra Canal. On this, FIR No: 115 dated: 22-11-2020 u/s 399,402,411 IPC PS Jaurkian has been registered. Police party cordoned the area in a planned way and captured 4 members of the gang namely Jaswinder Singh @ Bhalla S/o Kuldeep Singh R/o Chanarthal (Bathinda), Arshdeep Singh @ Arsu S/o Kala Singh, Manpreet Singh @ ghacha S/o Kaka Singh, Gurwinder Singh @ Bura S/o Mithu Singh R/o Maur Chadat Singh Wala (Bathinda). At the spot, police party recovered Gandasi, Kuhadi, Iron Rod, and Dah, 7 motorcycles and 5 mobile phones were aslo taken in possession.
All the accused have criminal background and are involved in 11 FIRs of different states and regularly indulge in heinous crime and smuggling cases. Rest the two accused will be arrested soon. The accused are now on two days police remand and deep investigation will be conducted to know about the other crimes committed by this gang and to know the detail of other cases registered against them.
