Dr.Narinder Bhargav, SSP, Mansa told that 7 members of interstate robbers gang have been arrested who were planning for some big robbery event in the vacant place of forestry (Jhidi) of Baba Jogipir within the boundaries of Village Ralla alongwith fetal arms and ammunition which was in their custody. At the spot, 1 Revolver 32 Bore Desi with 3 live cartridges, 2 Kaapas, 1 Takua, 2 Iron Rods and 1 hand of Water hand pump (Nalka) 1 Swift Car No.HR26AF 8962, 2 Motorcycles (one Pulsar Bajaj No.PB30N 5542 and one Honda Dream 110 CC without Number) has been recovered. It could only have been possible due to tight security arrangements and day and night vigil duties being given by the officials of District Police, Mansa which will be keep up in future also.
SSP Mansa told that on 28th of July, 2020, the staff of C.I.A. Mansa was on patrolling and were present at the canal bridge of village Ralla. On receipt of information, Police party immediately moved to trace and round up the culprits at the spot. When they saw the culprits hiding behind the trees and bushes, they attacked in a very planned way and captured all the 7 members of the gang who were planning for a big event of robbery. The arrested accused are Manjeet Singh @ Baba s/o Gurbax Singh resident of Moga, Murari Lal @ Billu s/o Prithvi Singh r/o Karbet District Hissar(Haryana), Sanju @ Karamveer Singh r/o Salemgarh (Haryana), Dharma s/o Virsa Singh r/o Chakk Panni Wala District Fazilka, Roshan Singh s/o Mukhtiar Singh r/o Ashal District Tarntaran, Sardul Singh @ Soola s/o Dalip Singh r/o Rattian (Moga) and Gurmeet Singh @ Ghaggi s/o Gurmail Singh re/o Khosa Kotla District Moga. The Police have recovered the above mentioned fetal arms alongwith one Swift Car and Two Motorcycles. A case FIR No.108 dated 28.7.2020 under sections 399, 402 IPC and 25/54/59 of Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Joga.
