Mansa, 03-08-2020: Mansa Police has started a big campaign against the drugs and resultantly 8 persons were arrested from different-different places under NDPS Act and 5 FIR’s were registered against them. From the arrested accused persons 10 Gram Smack along with Silver Foil and Lighter, 1630 Intoxicant Tablets and 30 Intoxicant Bottles along with Car were recovered. Investigation was brought into action after registration of FIR under NDPS Act, against the accused persons in different-different Police Stations.
S.S.P. Mansa Sh. Surendra Lamba, I.P.S., during the briefing had disclosed that Police Party of CIA Staff Mansa had apprehended Harpreet Singh alias Harry s/o Kartar Singh resident of Biroke-Khurd along with Swift Car No. DL-8CNB-9581 and 30 Intoxicant Bottles and 300 Intoxicant tablets make Carisoma were recovered and FIR was got registered against the accused persons at Police Station Sadar Budhladha under Heavy Recovery under NDPS Act. Police Party of Police Station Bhikhi had apprehended Karamjeet Singh alias Dhannu s/o Baljeet Singh resident of Heron-Kalan and 1100 Intoxicant Tablets (1000 Alprasafe + 100 Clovidol) were recovered, FIR was registered against the accused persons at Police Station Bhikhi under heavy recovery under NDPS Act. Police Party of Police Station Sadar Mansa had apprehended Charanjeet Kaur alias Charno wife of Bobby Singh resident of Narinderpura and 230 Intoxicant Tablets Make Clovidol were recovered and FIR was registered against the accused at Police Station Sadar Mansa under N.D.P.S. Act.
Likewise, Police Party of Police Station CVity-1 Mansa had apprehended 4 accused persons namely Gurpreet Singh alias Gogi s/o Hardev Singh, Jaspreet Singh alias Bogad son of Suresh Singh, Jaskaran Singh alias Mattu son of Harmesh Singh and Yadwinder Singh alias Don s/o Ram Singh residents of ward No.25 at the time when they were preparing to take intake of Smack and 5 Gram of Samck along with Silver Foil and Lighter were recovered, against whom FIR was registered at Police Station City-1, Mansa under N.D.P.S. Act. Police Party of Police Station City-1 Mansa had also apprehended Sonu Kumar alias Banti s/o Rajesh Kumar resident of Mansa and 5 Gram of Smack was recovered from him and FIR was registered against him at Police Station City-1 Mansa under N.D.P.S. Act.
Police Remand will be seeked after presenting the above mentioned accused before the Hon’ble Courts. Their deep investigation will be conducted, in respect from whom and from where they had brought the drugs and where they want to sale the drugs and after their investigation more progress will be made in the FIR’s. S.S.P. Mansa Sh. Surendra Lamba, I.P.S., had further stated that the campaign against the drugs and bad elements will be kept on working, likewise, in the future too.
