Mansa Police arrested 4 members’ robbers gang within “Two Hours”
1 Pistol 32 Bore Desi with 3 live cartridges, 1 toy Pistol, 1 Sharp iron rod, alongwith 2 motorcycles, 1 mobile phone and 1 lac cash have been recovered
Mansa ,August 27, 2021: Dr. Narinder Bhargav, IPS, SSP, Mansa told that Yesterday Manager of Hamara Petrol Pump Village Danewala (Jhunir) was going to bank for depositing 1 lac cash on his motorcycle, 4 members of robbers gang looted one lac cash at the gun point and ran away from the spot. After getting the information, Mansa police came into action and succeeded to arrest accused namely Jaskarn singh S/o Jaswant Singh, Jagtar singh S/o Mohan Singh R/o Bhucho Kalan, Harpreet Singh S/o Mander Singh R/o Bath Now Street No: 10, Bathinda and Gurpreet Singh S/o Labh singh R/o Lehra Sodhan (Bathinda) within two hours. 1 Pistol 32 Bore Desi with 3 live cartridges, 1 toy Pistol, 1 sharp iron rod alongwith 2 motorcycles, 1 mobile phone and 1 lac cash have been recovered from the accused at the spot.
SSP Mansa told that on dated 26th of August, 2021, Complainant Gurjeet Singh s/o Darshan Singh R/o Danewala stated before the Police of PS Jhunir that he is manager at Hamara Petrol Pump village Danewala and he use to deposit cash from sale in State Bank of Patiala, Branch Jhunir. As usually on dated 26-08-2021 near about 1.45 PM , he was going to deposit 1 lac cash on his motorcycle, He was just behind the Jhunir, 4 unknown persons came on two motorcycle and hit his motorcycle with their leg. He fell on the ground, one person put pistol on his ear and other started beating him with iron rode and snatched his bag of cash and ran away. On the statement of complainant FIR No: 80 dated 26-08-2021 u/s 392 IPC, 25 A.Act PS Jhunir was registered.
Under the supervision of Sh. Amarjeet Singh, DSP Sardulgarh, and Sh. Tarsem Masih DSP (Inv) Mansa various teams were deployed to nab the accused by SI Kewel Singh SHO Jhunir. All the accused were captured by the Police Team. 1 Pistol 32 Bore Desi with 3 live cartridges, 1 toy Pistol( like .9mm Pistol), 1 sharp iron rod (like Gandasi), 1 Pulser Motorcycle bearing No: PB-04W-7160, 1 Hero HF Delux without Number, 1 Oppo Company mobile phone and snatched amount i.e 1 lac cash have been recovered from the accused.
During the preliminary investigation 8 cases of robbery and snatching in District Mansa and Bathinda have been found registered. During the initial interrogation accused disclosed that they snatched motor cycle Hero H.F Delux and Oppo Phone on dated 25-08-2021 in the Boha area. Four days Police remand of the accused have been obtained, through investigation will be conducted to know about the other crimes committed by this gang.
