PUNJAB GOVERNMENT LED BY CHIEF MINISTER BHAGWANT MANN IS STRIVING TO PROVIDE BASIC FACILITIES AND CLEAN ENVIORMENT TO THE RESIDENTS OF STATE
TENDER PROCESS ALREADY STARTED FOR DEVELOPMENT WORKS OF AMRITSAR

Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann is making full efforts to provide basic facilities and clean environment to the residents of the state. Under this series, development work is being done continuously in the state. Taking another step in this direction, Punjab government has decided to spend approximately Rupees 6.81 crores on development works for the beautification of Amritsar.
Diviluing more details, Local Government Minister, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that for the beautification of Amritsar, Boundary walls will constructed at different sites at Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar and Boundary walls will also be constructed in the vacant Improvement trust land in Bhai Gurdas Ji Nagar.
Similarly, an Annual maintenance contract will also be executed for the repair and maintenance of streets lights in various improvement trust. Red Cross Women Hostel will also be repaired and renovated, he added.
He said that apart from this, the operation and maintenance of the 72 meter tall flag mast at Amrit Anand Park will also be covered under these development works. Laying water supply and sewerage line will be done at Kabir Park, maintenance of water supply and sewerage will also be done in various places of Amritsar. In addition of this, development of green belt in non construction area in 97 acres and various other works will be done.
Cabinet Minister Dr. Nijjar said that the dream of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is to make the life of the people of the state easier and provide clean environment.
Cabinet Minister, Dr. Nijjar said that e-tender for these development works has already been published on the Punjab government website www.eproc.punjab.gov.in. If any amendment is made in these tenders then the complete information will be available on this website
Cabinet Minister further said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to provide corruption free administration to the people of the state. Therefore, any officer or employee caught committing corruption will not be spared at any cost.
