Chandigarh, November 15:
The last date for enrolling as a voter in order to vote in the SGPC elections has been extended from 15th November 2023 to 29th February, 2024.
Disclosing this here today while releasing the revised schedule, Commissioner Gurudwara Elections, Punjab, Gurkirat Kirpal Singh said that following directives received from Justice (Retd) S.S. Saron, Chief Commissioner, Gurudwara Elections, the schedule has been released.
The respective Deputy Commissioners of all the Districts would ensure the publication of preliminary rolls by March 21st, 2024 while the last date for receiving claims and objections is April 11th next year.
Last date of disposal of claims and objections and communication of decisions by the revising authority thereon to the Deputy Commissioners is 21st April, 2024 and preparations of manuscript of the supplementary roll and printing of supplements are 2nd May, 2024. The date of final publication of the rolls would be May 3rd, 2024.
