Minister for Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Lal Chand Kataruchak today thanked Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution for accepting his request to revise the target of delivery of rice to the central pool from 125.48 Lakh Tons to 133 Lakh Tons.
Sharing these details, a spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that the State had already delivered more than 100 LMT of rice into the Central pool so far against the target given to it.
