– Educational Exhibitions and Cultural Performances by Students Create Memorable Moments

Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, more than 40 development works—including science labs, libraries, boundary walls, modern classrooms, and toilet blocks—have been completed in 16 government schools across Patiala district, as part of the ongoing Punjab Sikhya Kranti initiative.
To dedicate these newly completed works to the students, Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli, Samana MLA Chetan Singh Jauramajra, Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal, Shutrana MLA Kulwant Singh Bazigar, and Ghanaur MLA Gurlal Singh Ghanaur visited the schools. Simarjit Kaur and Harjashan Pathanmajra, wife and son of Sanaur MLA Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, also represented the constituency at these events. The leaders encouraged the students and appreciated the efforts of teachers in driving educational transformation.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLAs said that schools in Punjab are witnessing a revolutionary transformation, and these developments are a testimony to the state government’s commitment to uplifting the education sector.
The students impressed parents and dignitaries with educational exhibitions, cultural performances, and other co-curricular displays, making the events memorable and inspiring.
MLA Patiala Ajitpal Singh Kohli inaugurated modern classrooms and toilet blocks at Government Senior Secondary School, Old Police Lines, Patiala. Neena Mittal MLA Rajpura inaugurated development works at Government Girls School, Rajpura Town, and Kalka Road Rajpura. Gurlal Singh Ghanaur MLA Ghanaur inaugurated facilities at Government High School, Narrhu. Chetan Singh Jauramajra MLA Samana dedicated completed works at Government Girls School, Samana, Government Boys School, and Primary School, Malkana Patti. Simarjit Kaur and Harjashan Pathanmajra inaugurated upgraded infrastructure at Government Primary and High School, Gharam, and Government Primary and Senior Secondary School, Bhagwanpur Jattan. Kulwant Singh Bazigar MLA Shutrana participated in inauguration ceremonies at Government Primary and Senior Secondary School, Bahr Jachh, Government Primary School, Sagara, Guru Nanakpura, and Matauli.
It is noteworthy that during the ceremonies, the MLAs also honored students who excelled in annual examinations, performed well in co-curricular activities, and actively participated in the Business Blasters initiative.
