SAS Nagar, December 23:He presented a cheque worth Rs. 5 lac for the welfare of advocates to Manpreet Singh Chahal President and Kanwar Zorawar Singh General Secretary, DBA Mohali. The amount is expected to be utilized for infrastructure up-gradation in bar association’s library including new books, reading tables, computer tables and equipment for Video Conferencing.During the interaction, the advocates apprised the Health Minister regarding the need of a dispensary in the court complex. The Minister promptly conceded to the request and offered to depute a doctor and a pharmacist for the dispensary where ever the association identifies space/room for the dispensary.Minister talked at length about crisis faced by farmers and hoped that the advocates would support them. In response to Minister’s call, the District Bar Association Mohali expressing complete solidarity with the farmers of the State assured all support to them.Also present on the occasion were Advocate Kuldeep Singh Rathore Vice-President, Ravinder Singh, Narpinder Rangi, Jagdeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh Thind, Neeru Thareja, Sanjeev Singla, Damanjit Dhaliwal and HS Dhillon.
