The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MLA Dirba Harpal Singh Cheema expressed deep sadness over the deaths of eight people in Gujjran (Dirba) of Sangrur due to consuming spurious liquor and said that the government is with the families in this time of grief.
Harpal Cheema said that no one, responsible for these deaths, will be spared. He added that the police have already arrested the people behind this illegal alcohol and registered a case under 302, their government is ensuring the strictest possible action against them. He informed that a committee has also been formed who will submit their report within 72 hours. He said that the Mann government has zero tolerance against He also wished for a speedy recovery to the people who are hospitalised after consuming this spurious alcohol.
