Chandigarh October 19:
Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Thursday ordered to complete the work of Nangal Railway Flyover by 30 November 2023.
During a meeting at Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 to review the progress of the construction of Nangal Flyover, Harjot Singh Bains said that the work on this prestigious project was running behind schedule, Due to that the residents of Nangal and the people of surrounding areas faced difficulties.
The Cabinet Minister said that with opening of one side of the flyover, there is already a wave of jubilation among the residents of surrounding areas of Nangal.
He said that the work on the other side of the Flyover should be completed by Diwali and this should be opened for people by 30 November after completing the testing norms.
Officials of SDM Nangal, NHI, PWD, Transport and Highways were present on the occasion of this meeting.
