Punjab Education and Information & Public Relations Minister S. Harjot Singh Bains mourned the loss of notable Punjabi Singer Rajvir Jawanda, who breathed his last today in a private hospital in SAS Nagar (Mohali), where he was admitted in extremely critical condition following a road accident.
In his condolence message, S. Bains remembered Rajvir Jawanda as a ‘legendary Punjabi singer’, whose melodious voice captivated millions of Punjabi music lovers. He said that Jawanda’s untimely death at such a young age has created a void in Punjabi music industry, which would be difficult to be filled in the near future. Rajvir Jawanda would ever remain a heartthrob through his enchanting songs amongst his fans and his contribution has given a new dimension to the Punjabi singing, added S. Bains.
Sharing his heart-felt sympathies with the bereaved family, the Education Minister prayed to the Almighty to give them courage and strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant peace to the departed soul.
