The Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore expressed profound grief over the passing away of Sardarni Satinder Kaur Kahlon w/o Late Sardar Gyan Singh Kahlon and the mother of Smt. Preneet Kaur, Member of Parliament. She breathed her last late last night at the age of 96.
The Governor visited the house of the Kahlons in Sector 5 this morning and paid his last respects to the departed soul. He expressed his solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to bestow strength to the family to bear the irreparable loss. Sardarni Satinder Kaur Kahlon has left behind a formidable legacy and an indelible mark of grace and dignity in the hearts of the people, he said.
