UT reported four more deaths and 286 fresh cases of coronavirus on Sunday. This has taken the death to 120 and caseload to 10, 082. The city has many as 286 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the Administration, a 45-year-old male, r/o Sector 25, a case of SARI, hypertension and Seizure Disorder, tested COVID positive, expired at GMSH-16 on Sunday. A 48-year-old male, r/o Raipur Khurd, a case of ARDS, tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH-32 on Sunday. A 72-year-old male, r/o Ramdarbar, a case of SARI, Asthma and Diabetes, tested COVID positive, expired at GMSH-16 on Saturday. A 66-year-old male, r/o Sector 56, a case of Diabetic Ketoacidosis developed Type 1 Respiratory failure, tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH-32 on Saturday.
New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 372 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
