Chandigarh, May 12, 2021: Punjab Congress MLA from Zira, Kulbir Singh Zira was bereaved when his father former Minister Inderjit Singh Zira passed away. He was ill since long and breathed his last in a Mohali hospital.
His mortal remains will be consigned to flames today May 12, 2021 at 3.00 PM at their native village Basti Boote Wali near Zira.

He was elected to Punjab Vidhan Sabha twice in 1992 and in 1997. He remained a minister of state for Health and Jails in the Akali-BJP government headed by former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
