BATHINDA, AUGUST 8: Punjab Finance Minister Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal visited Bathinda city. During his visit, S. Badal first held a special meeting with the traders at village Sehne Wala regarding the Growth Center on Dabwali Road. During the meeting Mr. Badal directed the concerned authorities to address the demands of the traders on priority basis. After this S. Badal inspected the ongoing development works at Adarsh Nagar, Kartar Colony, Kothe Sucha Singh, Kheta Singh Basti in Ward No. 1, sewerage, lights and roads. In addition, S. Badal launched new projects at various places. Badal said that the ongoing development works should be completed as soon as possible and he said that no slack should be allowed in any of the development works. He said that the Punjab government was paying special attention to the development of Bathinda and was working hard to boost the industrial development of the state. After the meeting, S. Badal called on the people at Shakti Vihar Ward No. 4, Model Town Phase-I. On this occasion he said that the ongoing development works in various wards would be completed on priority basis. He said that no problem would be allowed to come up for the multifaceted development of Bathinda. He also assured that the ongoing development works and future new development works would be completed on priority basis. After meeting the people, Mr. Badal visited the house of Congress leader Mr. Balraj Pakka and discussed the ongoing development works in the concerned ward. He was accompanied by Mr. Arun Jeetmal Wadhawan, Mr. Tehal Singh Sandhu, Mr. Ashok Pradhan, Mr. Rajan Garg, Mr. Anil Verma, Mr. Mukesh Jindal, Mr. Ram Prakash Jindal, Mr. Vijay Wadhwa, Mr. Surinder Mohan, Mr. Virender Mohan, Mr. Rocky Bansal, Mr. Raju. Bhathewala, Jasveer Kaur and Mr. Sukhdev Singh were also present.
