The family, friends and large number of people from all walks of society hold candle march to pay tribute to Angad Singh and demand justice. 32 year old Angad Singh, a leading Industrialist of Ludhiana died due to dengue. The family alleged that Angad died due to negligence of Doctor of Deep Hospital, Model Town.
Managing Director of Big Ben Industries, Angad Singh died in private hospital of Ludhiana last week. Today, the large number of large number of people including family and friends of Angad gathered outside Gurdwara Model Town Extension to pay tribute to Angad. They also raised their voice to demand Justice for Angad.
MD of Big Ben Industries, Tejwrinder Singh said that his son was diagnosed dengue at private laboratory and he was admitted at Deep Hospital. He alleged that Angad was admitted for one week in hospital but he doctor’s didn’t give him proper treatment. His kidney was totally damaged due to the alleged negligency of doctors. After the death of Angad, 50 families who were also the victim of Same hospital approached them. Now they will fight till the logical end.
Ekpreet Kaur, wife of Angad Singh said that the family is totally shattered after the death of Angad. A multi speciality hospital didn’t give treatment of normal dengue to a patient. It was greed of money or negligence and now they want the license of hospital should be cancelled
President of Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU) Upkar Singh Ahuja who is father in law of Angad Singh said that they had shifted the patient at DMC hospital but till then the kidney was damaged and Angad died due to multiple organ failure. He said that they have brought the matter in notice of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and also submit written represention to authorities in demand of action against guilty Doctor and hospital.
Senior Akali Dal leader Maheshinder Singh Grewal, former Mayor Harcharan Singh Gohalwaria, Jagbir Singh Sokhi, Gurdeep Singh Gosha, UCPMA president DS Chawla and other prominent personalities also joined the candle March and assured them to stand with family to get Justice for Angad.
Several attempts were made to contact Doctor of Deep Hospital but no avail.
