Chandigarh, September 4:
The Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Monday congratulated 77 teachers to be honoured in four categories by the Punjab Government on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2024.
According to the list , the Teachers’ State Award will be given to 55 teachers while the Young Teacher Award to be given to 10 teachers. Apart from this, 07 teachers will also be given administrative awards and 5 teachers will also be facilitated with special honors.
Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains congratulated all the teachers selected for the award by the state government on the occasion of National Teachers’ Day and hoped that the teachers who received the award would become a beacon of light for other teachers.
Mr. Bains said that the Punjab Government is organizing a state-level function on Teachers’ Day at Hoshiarpur. The Chief Minister, Punjab, Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann will be the Chief Guest at the event.
The Education Minister said that this time the selection for the award was done by the district level committee and the jury at the state level with a transparent manners to select the hardworking and deserving candidates.
