DSGMC President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka in a statement stated that, with the support of the Delhi Sangat, essential relief supplies are being dispatched daily and delivered promptly to the affected regions through the dedicated service of DSGMC volunteers.
He highlighted that in areas such as Ajnala and Gurdaspur, where DSGMC has established relief camps, flood affected people have developed immense trust in the Committee’s commitment. “Whatever requirements are raised by the local Sangat, DSGMC ensure that the necessary items are made available immediately,” Kalka said.
He further emphasized that the foremost objective of DSGMC is to ensure that the relief material, contributed by the Sangat, directly reaches the affected families without any misuse. Kalka also pointed out that, given the situation, there is an urgent need for diesel, fertilizers, and seeds. DSGMC has already announced the provision of seeds for cultivation over 5,000 acres of land.
Appealing to the community, Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka said DELHI SIKH GURDWARA MANGEMENT COMMITTEE request the sangat to step forward in extending support to our brothers and sisters affected by floods in Punjab.
