The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to fulfilling the legitimate demands of the employees of the state. Under this commitment, the Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur held a meeting with Anganwadi Mulajam Union Punjab (CITU) to resolve their legitimate demands.
During the meeting, the major demands put forward by the union included grade 3 to Aganwadi worker and grade 4 to helper, children from 0 to 6 years should be placed in Anganwadi centres, Aganwadi worker should be given the status of pre-nursery teacher, Anganwadi worker helper gratuity, recruitment of Anganwadi workers and helpers, medical leave, creation of cards for free treatment linked to Ayushman Bima Yojana, Demands include.
The Cabinet Minister listened carefully to the demands of the union representatives and assured that their legitimate demands would be met soon.
On this occasion, Director Social Security, Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Shena Aggarwal, Special Secretary Vimmi Bhullar, Deputy Director Rupinder Kaur and Amarjit Singh Bhullar were specially present.
