Directions issued to the officials regarding the project
District Administration working with railways for maintenance of under pass at Mubarakpur and Ghazipur

Under the efforts being made by the Punjab government for the beautification of the state, the area around Railway Over Bridge, Sector 81-82, Airport Road will be beautified. Sharing this information, Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Aashika Jain said that regarding this project, the district administration officials have been assigned the duties to coordinate with the railway officials. They would ensure that this project would be completed soon.
This rail bridge would be beautified by JLPL jointly with Railways. Beautification of other spots along railway lines would be explored. Partners are invited to collaborate for the purpose. MOU shall be signed with agencies.
District Administration was working with railways for maintenance of under pass at Mubarakpur and Ghazipur. Working to ease the inconvenience being faced by people in Dhakoli due to railway crossing.
Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the beautification proposal of the Railway station. Consultant has been engaged by railways to upgrade the facade and give it a facelift with inputs from local culture.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the completion of area around Railway Over Bridge, Sector 81-82, Airport Road,
project would enhance the beauty of the city and this place will also become a center of attraction for people. She said that people are coming here from different places and Mohali is becoming the first choice of people to settle. Therefore, much attention is being given to the beautification of the district which is touching the heights of the development.
Mrs. Jain said that the district administration is working day and night for the development of the district. No stone would be left unturned for the development. She said that instructions have been given to the officials to ensure the quality of the developmental projects and any kind of negligence would not be tolerated.
