Patiala, August 20:
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav today reviewed the functioning of revenue officers in Patiala district and directed them to clear all pending cases related to land partition, measurement, khasra-girdawari and numbardari within the stipulated time.
Dr. Preeti Yadav asked the officers to regularly update the status of their court cases on the Revenue Court Management System. She instructed SDMs of Patiala, Rajpura, Samana, Patran, Nabha and Dudhan Sadhan, along with tehsildars, naib tehsildars and sub-tehsil officers, to ensure that the general public faces no inconvenience in revenue-related matters. She further stressed strict compliance with the directions of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann that no citizen visiting government offices should suffer any difficulty in getting their work done.
The Deputy Commissioner also called for special focus on pending cases of mutation, validation of jamabandis, verifications, appeals related to senior citizens’ grievances, land measurements, partitions, applications for removal of encumbrances, and recovery of dues.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Isha Singhal, SDM Patiala Harjot Kaur, SDM Samana Richa Goel, SDM Rajpura Avikesh Gupta, SDM Nabha Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh, District Revenue Officer Navdeep Singh, as well as tehsildars and naib tehsildars of the district.
