Fazilka, July 30, 2024: Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal today invited students to become partners in the district administration while interacting with them at Government Smart High School, Bannawala Hanwant. she sought suggestions from them on how the district administration can work better for the people. She was interacting with students under the Learn and Grow program.
Dr. Duggal,, said that hard work is the key to success in life. She advised students to set goals and work towards achieving them. She also emphasized the importance of self-study and encouraged students to read newspapers daily to stay updated on current affairs.
The Deputy Commissioner also cautioned students against social evils, especially drug abuse, and informed them about the Mission Nasha Mukt Bharat launched in the district. She also mentioned the introduction of Bag Free Day in government primary schools, where students engage in extracurricular activities on the last Saturday of every month.
Dr. Duggal also shared information about WhatsApp and Meta, encouraging students to use these platforms to learn about their country, district, and environment. she also encouraged them to plant more trees to increase green cover in the district.
The interaction ended with the Deputy Commissioner cutting a cake with the students.
