Chandigarh, February 6
UT recorded one more death while the neibouring Mohali saw due more deaths due to coronavirus during the past 24 hours. Chandigarh recorded 28 new cases of the infection while Mohali logged 25 positive cases.
There are as many as 28 active cases in Chandigarh and 452 in Mohali.
According to a media bulletin, a 54-year-old COVID positive female r/o Sector-56, a case of Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus, expired at PGIMER. New cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
In Mohali, breakup of new cases is Derabassi 1, Dhakoli 1, Gharuan 1 and Mohali Urban 22.
In UT, a total of 30 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines. In Mohali, there have been 37 recoveries.
