Chandigarh, August 21, 2020: In light of increasing number of coronavirus cases in the state, Secretary, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Sashi Lakhanpal Mishra, has issued instructions that on orders of the Speaker everyone attending the one-day session of Vidhan Sabha on August 28 should carry with them a coronavirus negative certificate without which they will not be allowed to enter the premises.
A letter in this regard has been issued to all DCs and the health department to get MLAs, who are attending the session, living in their respective jurisdiction tested for coronavirus between August 25 and 27.
Members of the Vidhan Sabha staff and others, including journalists, will also have to take a coronavirus test.
