Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday congratulated the Indian Women Junior Hockey Team for lifting Asia Cup Hockey by defeating Korea 2-1.
Hailing the victory, the Chief Minister said that it is a proud and historic moment for the nation as Women’s Junior Hockey Team has won the Asia Cup Hockey by defeating Korea in a scintillating match. Sharing the joyous moment, Bhagwant Mann said that the entire team has made every countryman proud for this coveted honour. Exuberating confidence over bright future of Hockey, he hoped that the day is not very far of when our national sports- Hockey will soon regain its pristine glory lost.
