Chandigarh, February 7
Coronavirus claimed one more elderly victim in Chandigarh on Sunday, taking the death toll to 340. The UT recorded 19 fresh cases of the pandemic during the past 24 hours. The caseload now stands at 21107.
There are as many as 169 active cases of the infection.
According to a media bulletin issued here, a 56-year-old COVID positive male R/o Sector-12, a case of Lymphoma, Hemolytic anemia and Diabetes Mellitus, expired at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Meanwhile, a total of 33 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
