Chandigarh, March 20
UT recorded one more death and 203 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours as the spike in the infection continued unabated in the city and the villages surrounding it.
The death toll in Chandigarh now stands at 362 while the caseload has increased to 24,220.
There are as many as 1717 active cases of the infection
According to a media bulletin issued here, a 45-year-old COVID positive female R/o Sector 25, a case of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Hypertension, and Diabetes expired at PGIMER.
Meanwhile, a total of 82 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
