Chandigarh, January 17
UT reported 34 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. Mercifully, no new death due to the infection was recorded during the past 24 hours.
The caseload in the city now stands at 20, 537. There are as many as 229 active cases of the pandemic.
The new cases of coronavirus have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 43 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
