Chandigarh, January 20
The Union Territory of Chandigarh reported 28 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday. There were however nor deaths due to the pandemic.
The caseload in the city has now gone up 20,623. There are as many as 171 active cases of the deadly disease.
According to a media bulletin released here by the Administration, the new cases of infection have been reported from different parts of the city and the areas surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 42 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
