ASSURES EARLY RESOLUTION OF LEGITIMATE DEMANDS

The Cabinet Sub-Committee, led by Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema, today held meetings with representatives of 8 different employee organizations to discuss and resolve their legitimate issues at the earliest.
The employee organizations that participated in the meeting included ‘Beruzgar Sanjha Morcha Punjab’, ‘3704 Adhiyapak Union’, ‘Meritorious Teachers Union’, ‘AIE Kache Adhiyapak Union Session 2012-14′, ’10 Saal Service Poori Kar Chukke Kache Adhiyapak Union’ (Temporary Teachers Union who have completed 10 years of service), ‘Beruzgar 646, PTI (2011) Adhiyapak Union’, ‘PWD Field and Workshop Workers Union’, and ‘All Punjab DST/CTS Contract/Guest Faculty Instructor Union’. The meetings, held at the Finance Minister’s office in the Punjab Secretariat, provided a platform for the employee unions to share their demands and concerns.
During the meetings, which lasted for about 3 hours, the Finance Minister had a detailed discussion with the union leaders and took information from the concerned officials about the current situation regarding their issues. He directed the officials to resolve the legitimate demands of the employee organizations as soon as possible. The union leaders thanked the Finance Minister for the AAP led Punjab Government’s serious action on their issues and appreciated the pleasant atmosphere in which the meetings were held. They expressed hope that their pending issues would be resolved early, bringing relief to the employees.
The Finance Minister assured the employee organizations that their demands would be given due consideration and that every effort would be made to resolve them in a fair and timely manner. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a sense of optimism among the employee organizations that their issues would be addressed soon.
Convener Jaswant Singh Ghubyia, Raman Kumar Malout and Harjinder Singh Jhunir from ‘Beruzgar Sanjha Morcha Punjab’, State President Harjinder Singh, Yadwinder Singh, Jagjivanjot Singh from ‘3704 Adhiyapak Union’, Senior Vice President Dr Tina, Dr. Ajay Sharma and Davinder Singh from ‘Meritorious Teachers Union’, State President Tajinder Kaur and Manju Sharma from ‘AIE Kache Adhiyapak Union Session 2012-14′, State President Jaspal Singh and General Secretary Baljinder Mukatsar from ’10 Saal Service Poori Kar Chukke Kache Adhiyapak Union’ (Temporary Teachers Union who have completed 10 years of service), Gurlabh Singh, CP Sharma and Vakeel Ram from ‘Beruzgar 646, PTI (2011) Adhiyapak Union’, State President Makhan Singh Wahidpuri and Baljinder Singh from ‘PWD Field and Workshop Workers Union’, and State President Sandeep Singh, Kirandeep Singh Rupana and Neena Rani from ‘All Punjab DST/CTS Contract/Guest Faculty Instructor Union’ presented their case during these meetings.
