SAS Nagar, November 17 :
Labour Minister Punjab Sangat Singh Gilzian conducted a surprise check at Kirat Bhawan, Phase 10 today at 9:30 am.
During the surprise check, Mr. Gilzian visited the branches located on different floors of Kirat Bhawan.
All the officers and employees were found present during the checking and some officers and employees were on leave after getting their leave approved online.
Mr. Gilzian praised the officers and staff for their punctuality and asked about the problems faced by all the employees.
The Labour Minister appealed to the employees to perform their duties with utmost honesty and integrity so that they could avail the benefits of the schemes implemented by the government for the welfare of the workers.
He appealed to all the employees and officers of the labour department working in the state of Punjab to redress the problems of the registered workers on priority basis.
Mr. Gilzian also conducted surprise check at the headquarter of Forest Department .
Among others Mrs. Ravneet Kaur, Special Chief Secretary Mr. Parveen Kumar Thind, Labour Commissioner were also present on the occasion.
