Advises political opponents to have patience as every remaining issue of airport will be resolved soon

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday said that the ideology of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh is panacea of all the ills faced by the country.
Addressing the gathering here during ‘Ek sham Shaheedan de naam’ organised here today, the Chief Minister said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh was votary of equality, communal harmony and brotherhood. He said that Shaheed-e-Azam had envisioned a society free from corruption and injustice. Bhagwant Mann said that only such ideology can make India a frontrunner country in the world.
Slamming the leaders for making undue hue and cry over name of Airport, the Chief Minister said that due to untiring efforts of his government International Airport has been named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He said that these leaders must have patience as every remaining issue pertaining to airport will be resolved soon.
Exhorting the youth of state to follow ideals of Shaheed Bhagat Singh to make Punjab a front runner state in the country, the Chief Minister said that said that all of us have to make concerted efforts to realise the dreams of martyrs. He said that it is the need of hour to restore the pristine glory of the state. Bhagwant Mann said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh was not only an individual but an institution adding that we must follow his footsteps for progress of country in general and state in particular.
The Chief Minister said that state government is already making all out efforts to cherish the aspirations of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and other great freedom fighters. He said that pro-people and development oriented policies of the state government are aimed at realising the dreams of these great national leaders. Bhagwant Mann said that every effort will be further made to ensure that benefits of public welfare schemes are percolated to the people at grass root level.
Expressing concern over the brain drain, the Chief Minister said that the legendary martyr had sacrificed his life for ousting the foreigners but our youth are now vying to get employed at those nations only. He said that the state government will make every effort to reverse this trend. Bhagwant Mann said massive efforts are being made to generate jobs in the state only.
