Rich tributes were paid to late Sardar Bhagwan Singh father of Senior journaliat Davinderjeet Singh Darshi today at Sardhanjli Samagam held at Gurdwara sri Angeetha Sahib, Phase 8 Mohali. S Bhagwan Singh (90) had passed away on October 13.
Sardar Balbir Singh Sidhu Punjab Health minister remembered Sardar Bhagwan Singh’ contribution for society and paid tributes to departed soul. He also conveyed message of Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh praying for peace to soul of Sardar Bhagwan Singh.
Bharat Inder Singh Chahal advisor to Chief Minister while paying tributes to departed soul said sardar Bhagwan Singh had given high values to his family.
S Balwant Singh Ramoowalia former minister said two sons of Sardar Bhagwan Singh had followed the footsteps of their father and always worked for welfare of society.
S. Iqbal Singh former Lt Gen of Pondicherry also paid tributes to Sardar Bhagwan Singh and expressed thanks to all those attended the Shardhanjli Samgam.
Other who paid tributes includes Harchand Singh Barsat general secretary AAP, Vimal Samvbli press secretary to CM, Dr. Joginder Dyal former state secretary CPI, Ajit Kanwal Singh Hansard Joint Director Public Relations, Chander Gaind Commissioner Patiala Division, Ankit Bansal OSD to CM and Senior Journalisst Major Singh, Gurmeet Mann, Deepak Sharma, Anil Bharadwaj, Devinder Kohli, Parminder Singh Jattpuri and Mahavir Jain.
Satinder Bains Chairman Punjab Digital Association and other members of association also paid tributes to Sardar Balwant Singh and shared grief of Darshi who is President of the Association
