All candidates to produce COVID-19 free/Asymptomatic Certificate and No Risk Certificate to participate in rally
Candidates who have registered online on Army Web Portal will be eligible to take part in rally
Chandigarh, December 4:
In view of the COVID–19 pandemic and keeping the health safeguards in mind, the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department and the District Administration, Ludhiana have coordinated with Army Authorities to organize the Army recruitment rally at a new venue. This year, the Army recruitment rally is being held at A.S College Kalal Majra, Khanna, Ludhiana from December 7, 2020 to December 22, 2020. The event is being organised specifically for the youth belonging to Moga, Roopnagar, SAS Nagar (Mohali) and Ludhiana districts.
To run the recruitment camp smoothly with proper safety standards, all candidates have to produce a COVID-19 free/Asymptomatic Certificate and No Risk Certificate, when they will be reporting to the rally ground.
To make this process seamless for candidates, the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department has tied up with the administration of the districts concerned. Instructions have been issued to make sure that the civil surgeons /Medical officers in the concerned districts ensure that the candidates participating in the Rally must be issued certificates on priority.
Only those candidates who have registered online on the Army Web Portal will be eligible to take part in the rally. The candidates are required to bring the admit card sent via e mail from November 22 to December 6, 2020. The time and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
The EGSDT department runs 14 camps across Punjab under the Centre for Training and Employment of Punjab Youth (C-PYTE) for pre –recruitment training of the rural unemployed for joining the Armed Forces, Central Armed ParaMilitary Forces and Police.
This rally would present an opportunity for the youth of Punjab to get into the esteemed services and serve the nation. The candidates are being encouraged to take part in the rally with full enthusiasm and energy.
