Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is continuously growing in Punjab. Leaders from Akali Dal, BJP and Congress are joining Aam Aadmi Party every day. On Monday many big leaders of opposition parties left their parties and joined AAP in many districts, giving Aam Aadmi Party an edge in the Lok Sabha elections.
Aam Aadmi Party Punjab President and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann formally inducted all the leaders into the party and welcomed them.

Aam Aadmi Party gave a big setback to Congress and BJP. District President of Congress Women’s Wing Manisha Kapoor and District President of BJP Minority Morcha Anwar Hussain and spokesperson Asrar Tareen joined AAP. With their joining, AAP has become stronger in Ludhiana Lok Sabha. On this occasion,Chief Minister Bhagwant and MLA Madan Lal Bagga was also present.
Apart from the above leaders in Ludhiana, Congress councilor Sohan Singh Goga and Auto Union President Satish Kumar Mama and many office bearers of Vyapar Mandal also joined Aam Aadmi Party. AAP MLA Kulwant Sidhu played a vital role in getting them inducted.
Aam Aadmi Party also gave a major setback to Akali Dal in Anandpur Sahib assembly constituency. Brigadier Rajkumar left Akali Dal and returned to his old party Aam Aadmi Party. In the 2017 assembly elections, Brigadier Rajkumar contested from Balachaur on Aam Aadmi Party ticket. Balachaur MLA Santosh Kataria was also present on this occasion.
Aam Aadmi Party has also gained strength in Faridkot Lok Sabha. Many social workers and leaders of Moga joined AAP. Akhtiyar Singh and Dr. Ravinder Singh Dhaliwal are prominent leaders who joined the party. Chief Minister Bhagwant inducted these leaders into Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of Moga MLA Amandeep Kaur Arora. On the other hand, District Council member from Baghapurana constituency of Faridkot, Tarsem Singh Sangam, along with his colleagues, joined Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of MLA Amritpal Singh Sukhanand.
In his statement, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that Aam Aadmi Party is a party of common people. The people of Punjab themselves are praising our work. People say that the amount of work done by the AAP government in two years has not been done in the last 70 years. He said that the people from every section of Punjab are joining Aam Aadmi Party and contributing to make Punjab prosperous again. He said that the people of Punjab are very excited to make Aam Aadmi Party win this time. We will win all the seats by 13-0.
