Chandigarh, June 8
With 60 more Covid-related fatalities, the toll in Punjab reached 15,219 while 1,273 fresh cases took the tally to 58,2,081 in the state on Tuesday, according to a medical bulletin.
7 deaths were reported from Jalandhar, followed by 6 in Amritsar, Barnala-1, Bathinda-5, Faridkot-1, Fazilka-2, Ferozepur-1, Gurdaspur-3, Hoshiarpur-2, Kapurthala-1, Ludhiana-6, Mansa-1, Moga-3, SAS Nagar-5, Muktsar-2, Pathankot-2, Patiala-5, Ropar-1, Sangrur-3, SBS Nagar-1, Tarn Taran-2 in the past 24 hours, the bulletin said.
There are 247 critical patients who are on ventilator support, 654 other critical patients and 3,094 patients on oxygen support, it said.
