– Citizens can avail services from 26 government departments by simply calling 1076
Patiala, June 29:
Under the ongoing doorstep delivery initiative of the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, citizens of Patiala can avail 406 services provided at Sewa Kendras from the comfort of their homes by simply calling 1076.
Sharing this information, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav said that these services, spanning 26 government departments, are being actively delivered at citizens’ doorsteps. These include 73 services from the Agriculture Department, 46 from Home and Justice, 45 from Labour, 39 from Transport, 48 from Revenue, 37 from Health and Family Welfare, 12 from Local Bodies, 13 from Social Security, and 17 under the SANJH initiative. Designated representatives visit applicants’ residences to collect the required documents and later deliver the final certificates or service outputs upon completion.
Dr. Preeti Yadav emphasized that this facility, has proven to be a major time-saver for citizens and enhancing both transparency and convenience. In case any documents are missing, applicants can easily arrange them from home. Service assistants handle the full process, from collecting applications and photographs to delivering the final outcome to the citizen’s doorstep.
She urged all residents to take full advantage of this hassle-free service by calling 1076 and accessing a wide range of government services from home.

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav informed that under this ongoing doorstep delivery service, citizens can access a wide array of services from their homes. These include the issuance, correction, and delayed registration of birth and death certificates; income and property certificates (including EWS); caste certificates (SC, BC, OBC, and General); residence and rural area certificates; and marriage registration. Services related to land records—such as verification, issuance of Fard, No Dues certificates, and mortgage equity entries—are also covered. Other services include affidavit verification, counter-signing of documents, certified copies of registered/unregistered documents, and police clearance certificates. Citizens can also avail of registration and renewal of construction workers, pensions for senior citizens, widows, dependents, and persons with disabilities, applications for UDID cards, scholarships for beneficiaries’ children, applications under the Shagun Scheme, and electricity bill payments. All these services and more are being conveniently delivered directly to the doorsteps of Patiala residents.
