UT reported four more deaths and 253 new cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen 144 while the total number of corona patients has climbed to 10,968. There are as many as 2,482 active cases.
1. According to a medical bulletin issued by the Administration, a 42 year old female, r/o Kishangarh, a case of Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH-32 on Wednesday. A 72 year old male, r/o Sector 32, a case of ARDS and Diabetes Mellitus, tested COVID positive, expired at Mukat Hospital, Chandigarh on Wednesday. A 76 year old male, r/o Sector 25, a case of ARDS, tested COVID positive, expired at GMSH-16 on Wednesday. A 41 year old male, r/o Burail, a case of B/L Pneumonia, SARI and Primary Membranous Nephropathy, tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH-32 on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a total of 293 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
