Chandigarh, September 15
UT reported one more death and 347 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday. The death toll in the city now stands at 96 while the infection cases have risen to 8592. There are 2991 active cases.
According to a medical bulletin, a 45-year-old male r/o Burail, was brought dead at GMCH-32 last week tested COVID positive after death. Information in this regard was received today.
The new cases of coronavirus have been reported from different part of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 202 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
