Chandigarh, September 7
UT reported three more deaths and as many as 232 fresh cases of coronavirus on Monday. With this, the death toll has risen to 74 and infection cases have climbed to 5995.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the Administration, a 45-year-old female r/o Dhanas, a case of Diabetes Mellitus and presented with Diabetes Ketoacidosis, tested COVID positive. She expired at PGIMER on Saturday. The second case related to a 72 year-old female r/o Sector 43, who had tested COVID positive, expired at Sohana hospital Mohali on Monday. A 50-year-old female r/o sector 37, tested COVID positive, expired at PGIMER on Sunday due to acute respiratory distress syndrome.
Meanwhile, A total of295 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic as per MoHFW guidelines.
