256 new COVID cases in Ludhiana,12 more deaths

Ludhiana 11 Sep 2020-12 more persons have lost their life due to Covid19 infection and 256 were tested Positive in Ludhiana district on Friday. The Corona Virus cases has crossed 13K mark in district. The health department has collected the samples of 5260 suspected persons. The active cases in district has reached 1816. 
Civil Surgeon Dr Rajesh Kumar Bagga informed that a total of 133080 samples have been taken till date, out of which report of 131327 samples has been received, of 116896 samples is negative and report of 1753 samples is pending. He said that 13010 persons have tested positive for Covid19 and 10633 were recovered.He said that unfortunately 12 people have died due to infection and till now 558 have lost their life.  He said that whenever District Administration and Health Department Ludhiana finds out that about any positive or suspected COVID 19 person, their samples are immediately sent for testing. 
Civil Surgeon appealed to the residents to follow all directions of the Punjab government and if they would stay indoors, they would not only stay safe themselves, but would also contribute in keeping everyone around safe.
