Chandigarh, September 5
UT reported one more death and 234 fresh cases of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 69 and infection tally to 5502. The figures include 2140 active cases.
A medical bulletin issued by the Administration that a 27year old male, r/o Sector 14, a case of,Type I Diabetes Mellitus and Intravenous drug abuser, tested COVID positive. He has expired at GMCHon Friday.
The new cases of coronavirus have been reported from various parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of185 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic as per MoHFW guidelines.
