UT reported two more deaths and 332 fresh of coronavirus during the past 24 hours. With this, the death toll has risen to 77 and infection tally to 6704
According to a medical bulletin issued by the Administration, a 30-year-old male, r/o Dhanas, a case of Tubercular Meningitis and Hemiparesis, tested COVID positive, expired at GMCH-32 on Wednesday. The case related to a 76-year-old female, r/o Khuda Jassu with Diabetes Mellitus and Hypertension, tested COVID positive, who also expired at PGIMER on Wednesday.
The new infection cases have been reported from different parts of the city and the villages surrounding it.
Meanwhile, a total of 180 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic as per MoHFW guidelines.
