Chandigarh, April 30
A record number of 13 deaths due to coronavirus were recorded in Chandigarh on Friday. The city logged 724 fresh cases of the infection during the past 24 hours.
The death toll in Chandigarh now stands at 478 while the caseload has increased to 42,647. The number of active cases stands at 6906.
Meanwhile, a total of 457 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic, as per MoHFW guidelines.
