Chandigarh, May 31
With 117 more Covid-related fatalities, the toll in Punjab reached 14,550 while 2,221 fresh cases took the tally to 56, 7607 in the state on Monday, according to a medical bulletin.
12 deaths were reported from Patiala, 11 in Bathinda, Amritsar-7, Barnala-3, Faridkot-4, Fatehgarh Sahib-2, Fazilka-5, Ferozepur-6, Gurdaspur-8, Hoshiarpur-3, Jalandhar-7, Kapurthala-3, Ludhiana 8, Mansa-4, Moga-2, SAS Nagar -9, Muktsar-9, Pathankot-1, Ropar-1, Sangrur-8, SBS Nagar-3, Tarn Taran-1 in the past 24 hours, the bulletin said.
There are 314 critical patients who are on ventilator support, 825 other critical patients and 4,450 patients on oxygen support, it said.
